People should be more careful while downloading the Apps or Application for their smart phones these days, as there are many faulty apps and some can even harm the device. Very few issues have been reported regarding the Apps form the Apple's Appstore being malicious, however, the malicious apps for Android is believed to be inceasing rapidly in the market.
Authorities at android are facing a hard time in controlling or detecting those malicious apps which can lead to some loss in industry.
I think there should be a groupm that reviews apps and provides a rating system where users can feel safe knowing that the apps they are interested in are approved and not malicious, something like the Better Business Bureau for businesses. They can post a seal which indicates the app passes gets their approval. Just a thought.
